Welcome to My Old Radio.
This web page is just an audio museum showcasing what the typical Old Time Radio programs were all about back in the
“Golden Age” of radio. This is by no means a comprehensive or vast collection of OTR shows.
It’s just a mere sampling of various radio programs as they were presented from the 1930s to the late 1950s on
broadcast A.M. radio.
My Old Radio is presenting radio
programming to the younger generations who may have not experienced “Real Radio.” Radio that
had aired live. Radio with in studio orchestras. Radio that had invented sound effects
that set the landscape for each production. Radio written and portrayed by true professionals.
It was one of a kind and never more to be duplicated. Get
your Latté and close your eyes. Let your mind raise the curtains, light the lights, and watch the
characters come alive. Click on the links below and listen. Happy listening!
Then tell your grandpa what you heard. Cool huh? Go for it!
